Real Estate & Foreclosure

Homeland Property Solutions

A home-buying site with two ways to sell: an as-is cash sale, or Sell & Stay, where the owner sells and rents the house back. The four-step survey opens with eight situations, and foreclosure is only one of them. Tapping a state on the 50-state map carries it into the offer form.

The Case Study

Sell the house, or sell and stay

Who the site is for, how a visitor moves through it, and how much is in the build.

The client

A home buyer with two ways to sell

Homeland Property Solutions is a home buyer working across the country. It buys some houses itself and matches others with an investor from its network. Owners pick one of two ways to sell: Sell & Move On, an as-is cash sale, or Sell & Stay, where they sell and lease the house back.

The brief was a home-buying site, not a foreclosure-help site, so foreclosure is on the page but never in the headline. We built the site to that brief.

The build

What is going on, and what the owner wants

The survey asks about the situation first. Foreclosure is one of eight answers, next to divorce, an inherited house, a tired landlord and someone just exploring.

  • A four-step survey: situation, goal, address, contact. It sits in the video hero and again in the closing section, and every offer button opens it in a popup
  • Address suggestions as the owner types, with the state read from the address
  • Two cards, one for each way to sell: Sell & Stay and Sell & Move On
  • A six-row table that compares selling to Homeland with a home equity loan and with listing through an agent
  • A map of all 50 states where tapping one fills in the state on the offer form, with a grid of state tiles on phones

What is in the build

The main site is two pages: one long homepage that does the selling, and a disclosures page where every topic has its own link.

  • 4survey steps
  • 8situations to choose from
  • 50states on the map
  • 41disclosure topics

Want one like this?

This build started as a 25-minute call

Same process every time: we map where the leads come from, build the piece that is missing, wire it to the CRM and then watch the numbers with you.

  • Scoped on the first call, priced before anything starts
  • Built and launched by the same people who scoped it
  • Tracked afterwards so you can see what it returned
